Responsibilities
Independently implement service changes, technical enhancements, and updates
Build and maintain robust RESTful services and manage data interactions with SQL Server
Quickly learn P&C Services workflows and ensure technical solutions align with insurance industry requirements
Partner with a small team of six on technical design and complex troubleshooting while maintaining high productivity during siloed work blocks
Deliver high-quality, scalable code in a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
Five or more years of professional Java development experience with expert-level Spring Boot
Extensive experience with JSON and REST APIs
Strong proficiency with SQL Server
Solid understanding of P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance terminology and coverages is a requirement. (e.g., understanding ACORD forms, certificates, and insurance workflows)
Preferred
Familiarity with IBM/FWA workflow or form construction
Understanding of how backend Java services interact with low-code platforms
Experience with ServiceNow or RPA (Robotic Process Automation) environments
