Responsibilities
Design, install, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial equipment and processes
Design, develop, testing and implementation automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA platforms
Understand process automation
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and industry regulations
Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical and control system failures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize process control and automation strategies
Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for E&I assets and projects
Support commissioning and startup of new equipment and automation projects
Maintain accurate documentation, including wiring diagrams, loop sheets, and control logic
Qualification
Required
Design, install, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial equipment and processes
Design, develop, testing and implementation automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA platforms
Understand process automation
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and industry regulations
Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical and control system failures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize process control and automation strategies

Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or related field preferred
3+ years of experience in industrial E&I and automation engineering
Proficiency in DCS & PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI development, and SCADA systems
Strong understanding of industrial sensors, actuators, VFDs, and control loops
Familiarity with NEC, ISA, and other relevant standards
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience in hazardous area classification and intrinsic safety
Project management and budgeting experience
Ability to train and mentor technicians and junior engineers
