Responsibilities
Provide cybersecurity engineering and DevSecOps support to ensure systems are designed, developed, deployed, and sustained with security embedded throughout the lifecycle
Lead and support implementation of cybersecurity requirements in accordance with DoD and Federal policies to ensure systems are secure, resilient, and compliant
Integrate cybersecurity controls, automation, and continuous monitoring capabilities into development, test, and operational environments
Support secure system architecture design and technical implementation in collaboration with systems engineers, developers, cloud architects, and program managers
Implement and oversee secure software development practices and DevSecOps processes within continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Lead and support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including system categorization, security control implementation, assessment support, authorization, and ongoing compliance
Develop, review, and maintain cybersecurity documentation, technical artifacts, and compliance evidence supporting authorization and accreditation activities
Lead and support vulnerability assessment, analysis, remediation planning, and continuous monitoring activities to maintain system security posture
Support implementation and oversight of identity and access management controls in accordance with applicable policies and system requirements
Monitor system security posture and provide technical recommendations to improve system security, automation, and operational efficiency
Coordinate cybersecurity and DevSecOps activities with engineering teams, program managers, and Government leadership to support system security objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (required; no substitutions permitted)
Active U.S. Government security clearance (required)
Minimum 10+ years of experience providing cybersecurity engineering and DevSecOps support
Demonstrated experience supporting secure system design, development, deployment, and sustainment within DoD environments
Extensive experience supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and DoD cybersecurity compliance requirements
Experience developing and maintaining cybersecurity documentation, vulnerability management processes, and secure development practices
