Responsibilities

Develops PC-based and mobile software applications, which interact with devices such as an implantable stimulator
Conducts development activities that include requirements definition, design, implementation, and verification / validation
Able to debug and analyze device issues in the field and field returns
Develops software in a regulated environment in accordance with internal operating procedures and external standards and regulations
Conducts cross-functional reviews of the software at appropriate times in the development cycle
Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results under collaborative self-direction
Applies technical principles, theories, and concepts, in addition to developing new principles and concepts towards the solution of complex technical problems and provides solutions which are innovative and ingenious
Proactively identifies areas of developmental risk and communicates these to the team accordingly
Develops software in a regulated environment in accordance with internal operating procedures and external standards and regulations
Works in accordance with quality system procedures and actively enforces its objectives
Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Required

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related engineering or scientific field
A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in software design and coding
Equivalent years of experience may trade off with the education requirement
Experience in C#, .NET development (Visual Studio, C#, .NET)
Experience in iOS (Swift) development
Good knowledge of software engineering principles
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are essential

Preferred

Familiarity with automating integration test development for a C# .NET GUI application (WPF, WinForms, Win32) is a plus
Familiarity with embedded firmware is a plus
Familiarity with test-driven development is a plus
Familiarity with Agile environments is a plus
