We Power America is seeking experienced electricians for high profile projects in Billings, MT. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings while ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.
Construction

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, panels, circuits, motors, and equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, using a variety of tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems efficiently
Ensure all electrical work adheres to local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations and upgrades
Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems to improve performance or meet new requirements, such as adding outlets or equipment
Adhere to strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, to ensure the safety of the work environment
Work closely with other contractors, engineers, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency
Provide on-call support for emergency electrical repairs, ensuring quick response and resolution of critical issues

Required

Experience as a Journeyman Electrician

Experience in upgrading and modifying existing electrical systems

Experience in conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
Availability for on-call support for emergency electrical repairs

Preferred
