Responsibilities
Troubleshooting VFDs, AHUs, motors, ATS systems, UPS systems, industrial and low voltage lighting
Reading and interpreting blueprints, control diagrams, and specifications
Performing electrical calculations for load requirements
Using hand/power tools and electrical test equipment
Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E requirements
Understanding of high and low voltage electrical systems
Must be available and able to respond to emergency call-ins when required
Must pass an annual “Fit for Duty” physical and meet all the necessary medical requirements to wear all types of respirators and perform the physical requirements of the job
Must pass the required respirator fit test and maintain the requirement

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
OSHA 10 certification
Building Automation Systems experience
Industrial controls experience
Laboratory environment experience (fume hoods, lab benches)
5 years preferred in electrical trades
Government facilities maintenance, industrial/commercial electrical systems experience
