Responsibilities
Use standard and specialized equipment to fabricate components and/or finished product
Modify and/or assemble parts to support internal or external customer requirements
Troubleshoot issues and fabrication equipment
Assist with general facility related maintenance activities as needed
Troubleshoot and install 12-volt electronic systems (telematics) in fleet vehicles
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
Experience working with both standard and specialized equipment, including but not limited to: Table Saw, Drill, Grinder, Welding equipment, Plasma Cutter, and Metal Brake
Follow OSHA and internal safety guidelines
Demonstrate attention to detail with high quality focus
Able to work in a small team with minimal supervision
Flexible to changing requirements and/or job duties
Able to meet schedules and deadlines
Prioritize organization & general workspace housekeeping
Proven demonstration of the values of Integrity, Respect, Hard Work, and Safety First
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Able to stand and walk for extended periods
Able to bend, kneel, climb, crouch, reach overhead, grasp, push, and pull
Able to work in environments with varying temperatures
Preferred
Certification in welding, soldering, and/or metal operations
Completion of a technical training program
Experience or training in electrical and/or mechanical, fleet or facility focused
Forklift Certification
