Senior Paralegal
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including case intake, discovery, trial preparation, and appeals
Draft legal documents such as complaints, subpoenas, notices, motions, and discovery requests/responses
Manage document production, including organizing and analyzing large volumes of documents
Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
Maintain litigation calendars and track important deadlines
File documents electronically with state and federal courts
Qualification
Required
10+ year of experience
Advanced knowledge of PC applications, including MS Office
Well-versed in Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure, Federal Rules of Procedure, and Appellate procedure for both Arizona and 9th District
Strong command of project management strategies
Superior communication and problem-solving skills
High level of discretion and confidentiality
Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels
Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
Professional demeanor
Civil Litigation: 10 years (Required)
Preferred
Advanced knowledge of legal software programs such as CLIO, Open Discovery, and TrialDirector
Appellate: 5 years (Preferred)
