Responsibilities
Support Acushnet Company’s strategic initiative to expand production capabilities for its premium performance golf ball product lines, Titleist® PRO V1® and PRO V1x®
Provide hands-on engineering support across mechanical design, sub-assembly fabrication, electrical design, and automation controls
Conduct scaled experimentation and prototype testing
Spend regular time in the manufacturing environment working closely with engineers and technicians to support equipment development and process improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a college or university degree-granting program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Coursework in Mechanics of Materials, Thermodynamics, Statics, Dynamics, Power and Control Systems, IoT, or high-level programming
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks®
Ability to work regularly on the manufacturing floor and interact with equipment
Comfort working in an environment that may include exposure to dust, heat, chemicals, and noise
Preferred
Preference for candidates with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
