Responsibilities
Build internal credit models where external ratings don't exist—this isn't template work
Quantitative modeling: Potential Future Exposure (PFE), Loss Given Default, stress scenarios
Credit reviews for affiliate credit limits (physical and financial)
Write credit recommendations and memos that move decisions
Structure collateral requirements, LOCs, and parental guarantees
Use Bloomberg and credit analytics to monitor counterparty risk in real time
Partner with Treasury, Legal, and Operations on credit terms that balance risk and business growth
Qualification
Required
3+ years in credit/risk analysis (energy or commodities experience valued, not required)
Financial modeling in Excel—advanced, not basic
Bachelor's in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or related field
Comfort with ambiguity and fast decisions
