Responsibilities
Provide vision and direction for project staff while assuming full accountability for budget compliance, schedule adherence, and the quality of all technical deliverables
Lead mid-to-large capital power projects, specifically Combined Cycle Power Plants, with a Total Installed Cost (TIC) of $100MM+
Successfully manage and integrate work with overseas High Value Engineering (HVE) offices and diverse multidisciplinary teams
Monitor, report, and control project costs and productivity; manage Change Management (ECNs) to ensure project profitability and scope integrity
Act as the primary liaison with clients to ensure all contractual requirements are met and to identify new business opportunities through relationship building
Recruit, train, and coach project personnel to maintain optimal staffing levels and high technical performance
Perform field walk-downs and data collection, necessitating physical activity (climbing) and travel to job sites
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required
15–20 years of experience in Power projects, with a heavy emphasis on combined cycle plants
Minimum of 8–10 years specifically in a Project Manager role managing a diverse portfolio of small to large-cap projects
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; highly organized and self-directed with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced team environment
Willingness to travel and work in both office and field environments
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred
