Compensation Analyst

Responsibilities

Reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and recommending pay actions that result in the retention of a talented, highly engaged, and productive workforce
Partnering with the recruiting team to align new hire offers with internal equity
Supporting the Compensation Director in the development of compensation philosophy, salary administration guidelines, and principles
Partnering with HRIS to compare organizational compensation reporting with job architecture measures
Ensuring that compensation grades, levels, and exemption assignments are correctly aligned to the appropriate job profiles in Workday
Working independently while also collaborating in a team environment to resolve complicated pay concerns across various departments within FCS

Required

Bachelor's degree, required
Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing compensation tasks
At least five (5) years of experience demonstrating progressive HR responsibilities
Analysis & critical thinking; using resources available to solve problems and exercise independent judgment
Strong interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communication
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; versed in formulas heavily used in compensation and financial analysis
Solid time management skills with the ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks at once, with changing priorities/deadlines
Ability to collaborate across various levels of management, departments, and teams
Comfortable identifying problems and exploring solutions across various leadership levels across FCS
Must be comfortable being client-facing and customer service focused, with a commitment to providing timely responses
Ability to work effectively and professionally in stressful situations and when opinions differ
