Accounting Software Trainer
Canam Systems is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Accounting Software Trainer to join their growing team. In this client-facing role, you will deliver training for their suite of PROVEN software platforms used in the insurance restoration industry, with a strong emphasis on accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities
Deliver engaging software training sessions focused on accounting features, including: Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger, Banking & Credit Cards, WIP (Work in Progress), Financial Reporting
Provide instruction on WIP configuration, job costing, and revenue recognition
Translate complex financial processes into easy-to-understand guidance for clients
Support client adoption through follow-ups, Q&A, and ongoing communication
Collaborate with internal teams (Support, Product, Implementation) to support client onboarding success
Create and maintain training materials and knowledge base articles related to accounting workflows
Manage scheduling, communication, and documentation for assigned training sessions
Stay informed on new features and contribute to updating training content
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of accounting principles (AR/AP, GL, WIP, job costing)
Experience delivering live and virtual training; instructional background preferred
Clear communication skills and strong customer-service mindset
Ability to quickly learn new software and explain workflows to clients
Willingness to travel periodically to client sites across North America
Preferred
Previous experience working with accounting systems such as QuickBooks is a plus
Experience in the restoration or construction industry is an asset
