Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and check all construction documents for accuracy
Coordinate documents with internal team members and external consultants
Apply working knowledge of lighting, HVAC, structural, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical design
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of architectural detailing and construction standards
Direct Production Team, assign tasks, and allocate resources
Facilitate communication among staff regarding project status, objectives, and performance
Interface with clients as directed and manage relationships to ensure satisfaction
Foster an atmosphere for learning and professional growth
Coordinate submission of documents to building departments
Support construction administration (RFIs, shop drawings, submittals)
Lead field survey teams for as-built documentation
Maintain, organize, and archive project files
Qualification
Required
Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
5+ years of experience in a professional architecture office
Multi-family residential and mixed-use experience required
Advanced skills in Revit, CADD, and Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of CBC, ADA, and relevant building codes
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
Preferred
Licensed Architect in California
Broad experience across various project types and phases
Ability to make independent decisions and recommendations
