TriCom Technical Services is seeking a Level-1 Support Technician to provide immediate help desk support for a healthcare organization experiencing high ticket volumes. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth clinical operations during a period of organizational change, providing technical support and troubleshooting for end users.

Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day Level-1 technical support for end users
Troubleshoot peripheral devices (printers, scanners, cameras, etc.)
Perform password resets and provide general account access support
Complete employee onboarding and offboarding tasks
Create and modify basic Active Directory user accounts
Manage, triage, and resolve tickets using Avanti ITSM
Conduct on-site visits (if local) to address hardware issues, equipment replacement, and peripheral troubleshooting
Collaborate closely with Level -2 engineers and the IT to support ongoing operational stability
Qualification
Required
1–3+ years of hands-on IT support experience
Strong basic troubleshooting skills
Experience with end-user support
Peripheral troubleshooting experience (printers, scanners, cameras)
Password reset and account management experience
Ability to create users in Active Directory
Personal vehicle for local travel (if based near Fort Wayne or Akron)
Preferred
Experience with Avanti ITSM
Previous healthcare IT experience
