CSRR-2026-3 Administrative Analyst 3 – Information Systems
The NJ Department of Environmental Protection is seeking an Administrative Analyst 3 in Information Systems. This role involves reviewing, analyzing, and appraising administrative procedures, and preparing recommendations for changes, as well as creating and maintaining analytic reports and PL/SQL functions in an Oracle environment.

Responsibilities
Perform the review, analysis, and appraisal of current department administrative procedures, organization, and performance
Help to prepare recommendations for changes and/or revisions
Create, design and maintain Analytic Reports in SAP Business Intelligence using both pre-defined data universes and free hand SQL
Create, test and maintain PL/SQL functions and reference data in an Oracle based environment to create complex merge documents such as permits, reports, letters, etc. that auto-generate through the Department’s internal databases
Update and maintain the forms and guidance documents for CSRR
Qualification
Required
Seven (7) years of professional experience involving the review, analysis, and evaluation of budget, organization, administrative practices, operational methods, management operations, or data processing applications, or any combination thereof, which shall have included responsibility for the recommendation, planning, and/or implementation of improvements in a business or government agency
Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and three (3) years of the above-mentioned professional experience
Possession of a Master's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting; and two (2) years of the above-mentioned professional experience
All U.S. degrees and transcripts must be from an accredited college or university. All foreign degrees and transcripts must be evaluated for accreditation by a recognized evaluation service by the closing date of this posting
Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
Selected candidates must be authorized to work in the United States per the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship, and Immigration Services regulations
