Mid LevelCommunity Choice Credit Union is seeking a Business Portfolio Specialist to support and monitor their business loan and deposit portfolio. The role involves partnering with Commercial Lenders to ensure portfolio performance, risk management, compliance, and exceptional member service.

Responsibilities
Support the annual business loan review process, including collecting, reviewing, and analyzing borrower financial statements
Assist Commercial Lenders with portfolio management, including monitoring maturities, initiating member outreach, and supporting timely loan renewals
Monitor assigned portfolios through monthly financial statements, past-due reports, and exception tracking, partnering with the Business Portfolio Manager to resolve issues
Proactively collect financial statements via email, phone, and written correspondence
Deliver exceptional service by assisting members with business loan servicing inquiries, payments, and maintenance requests
Serve as a secondary point of contact for business members in support of the Commercial Lender
Order and track due diligence items such as appraisals and environmental reports
Attend member visits and loan committee meetings as requested to stay aligned with lending priorities
Maintain clear and consistent communication with Commercial Lenders to keep both renewal and new loan files moving efficiently
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the business lending team
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and interpret business financial statements, calculate cash flow, and perform debt service analysis
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
Demonstrated commitment to exceptional member service with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of state and federal lending regulations
Strong multitasking skills with flexibility and attention to detail
Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines effectively
