Responsibilities
Assist in designing and improving safe, efficient manufacturing processes and production flow
Support assembly methods, tooling improvements, and equipment optimization
Conduct time studies and work measurement analysis to improve productivity
Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Support maintenance planning and equipment reliability efforts
Research, source, and justify tooling, machinery, and equipment purchases
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for process and equipment investments
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams
Assist in developing quality control plans and standardized work
Collect, analyze, and present production data to identify improvement opportunities
Present a final improvement project and key learnings to leadership
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to conduct time studies and work measurement analysis
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
