Robotics Engineer II
Dexterity, Inc. is a company that believes in the transformative power of robotics for warehouse automation. They are seeking a Robotics Engineer II to develop and optimize Real-time C++ software for mobile robots and to work on various algorithms and systems related to robotic motion and planning.

Responsibilities
Develop and optimize Realtime C++ software for mobile robot
Design, document, program, test, and debug software for robots and robotic systems
Work on algorithms and state machines involving robot motion and planning, perception, online signal processing and feedback control
Incorporate customer requirements into robotics system design
SW module unit testing and regression testing
Improve SW architecture, readability and error handling
Develop diagnostic tooling for preventative maintenance
Develop Realtime control SW in C++ for ethercat (protocol) stack
Travel 4x per year to customer sites in Tracy, CA and Seattle, WA
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering, or foreign degree equivalent
2 years of experience as a Software Engineer and/or Product Support Engineer and/or Mechatronics Engineer in robotics engineering design and integration services
Coding in Python and C++
Ethercat System Controls protocol
Utilizing CAN networking protocols
Troubleshooting/debugging electromechanical systems
