Responsibilities
Writing, editing and reviewing a wide range of content, including internal and external emails, presentations, marketing collateral, digital marketing pieces, website content, social media content, blog posts and Intranet updates
Communications project management for webinars and events
Coordinating timelines and helping maintain the firmwide communications calendar
Contributing to our blog, fathom, when time allows
Ensuring all content aligns with the Aspiriant style guide and reflects our brand voice
Working with the Compliance team to help ensure content meets SEC and FINRA guidelines
Supporting digital distribution as needed through tools like Marketo and WordPress
Internal communications projects
Qualification
Required
Familiarity with AP Style or a willingness to learn quickly
Comfort with Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Excel
Familiarity with content tools like Marketo or WordPress
Interest in or basic comprehension of SEO and AEO
A strong eye for grammar, clarity, structure and tone with excellent copyediting and verbal communication skills
Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
A journalistic instinct for uncovering meaning and value in written content
A familiar, professional writing voice that adapts across formats and audiences
A collaborative mindset and comfort working with colleagues across departments
Ability to assist digital content distribution through platforms like Marketo
Five-plus years of experience in professional writing and editing, ideally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications or a related field
Graduate degree in English, communications, business or economics
Experience maintaining internal communications, including messaging from senior leadership
Experience in financial services, an RIA or another regulated industry
