Responsibilities
Ensures production is fully supported by identifying and gathering parts for assembly based on pick list
Gather, verify, and prepare parts and materials for assembly and production based on pick lists and work orders
Organize and deliver kitted materials to production areas in a timely manner
Identify inventory shortages or discrepancies and promptly report them to the supervisor
Ensure live parts are moved through the plant quickly to avoid production delays
Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to verify correct parts
Perform basic inspection of parts to ensure accuracy before delivery
Receive, unload, and check incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders
Process return shipments and handle documentation as required
Inspect incoming shipments for damage or defects and report issues to supervisor and/or purchasing
Sort, count, package, label, unpack, and log inventory in the ERP system
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move and stage materials safely
Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department
Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or material handling. Previous manufacturing experience is required
Forklift certification or ability to become certified (Class 3 and Class 4 equipment)
Basic computer skills: ERP experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and pick lists
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality and accuracy under time pressure
Ability to perform basic math, count accurately, and follow written and verbal instructions
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to read, write and speak English required
Preferred
Basic computer skills: ERP experience preferred
