Responsibilities
Deliver high quality software with minimal defects that conforms with suggested design patterns and best practices
Provide inputs to the design documents, API Docs etc
Take ownership of designing and implementing a story and drive it to completion
Understand and follow DevOps practices and execute the given tasks
Learn and become subject matter expert in Application security features such as Encryption, Authentication, and Authorization
Provide effort and time estimates to complete work
Contribute to development of test framework and Write /execute various type of testcases (Unit/Contract etc)
Follow scrum practices and report the status, progress and impediments in the timely fashion
Continuously look for opportunities to learn and improve skills
Qualification
Required
2-5 years of software development experience, preferably in a product development company
Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field
Strong understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Practices
Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
Exhibit strong time management skills
Solid understanding of, and practical experience with DevOps and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
Practical knowledge of Software Design Patterns
Practical Knowledge of and/or willingness to work as per Agile/Scrum methodologies
Have some exposure to project planning and effort estimation practices
Ability to work collaboratively in a team to brainstorm, plan and develop new features
Preferred
Previous experience with data access technologies
