Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end billing for Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payers
Monitor, analyze, and resolve claim discrepancies, including follow-ups and appeals
Partner with clinical, admissions, and records teams to ensure accurate documentation and authorizations
Serve as a resource for complex or escalated billing matters
Support billing audits and compliance efforts
Lead aging reviews and communicate reimbursement risks or delays
Mentor team members and support process improvements
Stay current on payer regulations and billing best practices
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of accounts receivable or medical billing experience, including skilled nursing/SNF billing
Strong working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
Advanced attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality
