Responsibilities
Assist the Study Lead in defining study questions to address areas of concern and translate into analysis plans
Develop models in physics simulation frameworks to represent system performance and behaviors
Conduct simulation runs for studies using defined run matrix and produce output
Post-process output data into measures of merit and effectiveness to support the analysis plan objectives
Assist in performing verification and validation of simulation inputs, output and results
Assist in interpretation of model results and development of presentations to deliver findings and conclusions to the customer in support of their analytical objectives
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience with mission-level modeling and simulation and Operations Analysis principals
Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, operations research, computer science or similar field
U.S. Citizenship required
Secret clearance. Eligibility to obtain Top Secret clearance
Some local travel required
Preferred
Knowledge of modeling and simulation methodologies and tools (i.e. AFSIM, Suppressor, or EADSIM)
Familiarization with developing experimental designs, executing study plans, and constructing scenario elements
Experience with object-oriented programming and principles
Experience conducting data analytics using various tools
Experience with statistics and their application in Monte Carlo simulations
