Responsibilities
Build and optimize Power BI dashboards, semantic models, KPIs, and DAX with strong performance and governance
Develop Microsoft Fabric solutions including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, OneLake, Dataflows Gen2, and Fabric Data Pipelines
Create and manage data ingestion from SQL sources, cloud storage, and REST APIs using Fabric Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and ADF
Implement BI governance: RLS/OLS, workspace strategy, deployment pipelines, and access control
Ensure data quality, refresh reliability, and strong model performance through tuning, aggregations, and incremental refresh
Work directly with stakeholders, translate requirements, mentor junior developers, and coordinate offshore delivery
Qualification
Required
8–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence / Analytics / Data Engineering, with strong focus on Power BI
Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, One Lake, and Data Pipelines
Strong expertise in Power BI administration, governance, security, and performance optimization
Proven experience integrating data from REST APIs and external application APIs into BI and analytics platforms
Advanced knowledge of data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling) and DAX optimization
Solid SQL skills with experience in performance tuning and large datasets
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Power BI and data assets using Azure DevOps or GitHub
Excellent communication and client-facing skills, including interaction with senior stakeholders
