Responsibilities
Mentor and coach developers, enabling them to work independently and grow technically
Lead development efforts, contributing to architecture and design decisions
Provide realistic delivery estimates and technical direction
Design and implement solutions in collaboration with architecture, UX/design, DevOps, and enterprise security
Participate in and lead code reviews, offering constructive feedback and best practices
Drive discussions balancing tactical vs. strategic decisions, clearly outlining trade-offs and recommendations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 8+ years of progressive, relevant experience
Deep knowledge of Android application full lifecycle support, from development through Play Store publishing and ongoing support
Strong understanding of latest Google Play Store requirements and modern Android platform features
Hands-on experience working with remote data via RESTful services and JSON
Expertise in Android SDK, Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose
Experience developing multi-threaded and networked applications
Proven use of third-party libraries and public APIs
Solid understanding of the mobile application landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Comfortable operating within one or more SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum)
Actively seeks feedback and guidance through code reviews and peer collaboration
Ability to work with existing data models and schemas, recommending improvements and enhancements
Strong debugging skills with the ability to resolve issues independently
Practices automated testing, creating repeatable and reliable test coverage
