Responsibilities
Lead DevOps automation initiatives across CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and configuration management
Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Oversee OS and application patching, deployment, and compliance reporting
Guide OS imaging, application packaging, and release readiness processes
Support hybrid infrastructure provisioning (on-prem, VMware, and cloud)
Act as a senior escalation point for complex deployment, automation, and infrastructure issues
Mentor and provide day-to-day leadership to DevOps engineers
Help define standards, documentation, and best practices for DevOps operations
Participate in on-call and incident response as needed
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure roles
Prior experience as a senior engineer, technical lead, or team lead
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar)
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred; Ansible required)
Scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash or Python
Solid background in OS deployment, patching, and software deployment
Experience working in VMware and hybrid environments
Comfortable troubleshooting complex infrastructure and automation issues
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Preferred
Experience with PXE/iPXE or bare-metal provisioning
Familiarity with Linux patching and package management
Experience with cloud platforms and VDI/Citrix environments
Knowledge of change management and security best practices
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
Equivalent experience and certifications will be considered
