The role involves setting up, proving out, and running programs on advanced milling machines and machining centers to deliver mission-critical parts with exacting tolerances.

Responsibilities
Interpret routed instructions, process plans, blueprints, and verbal guidance under moderate supervision
Plan setups and stage tooling in accordance with the setup sheet
Operate 4- and 5-axis equipment; validate work using handheld metrology tools
Read/edit G- and M-code; write programs at the machine when needed
Download/upload CNC programs; maintain revision control at the machine
Complete routers as each operation is successfully finished, prior to moving parts ahead
Qualification
Required
G & M coding experience (must be able to read/edit)
Ability to read blueprints; working knowledge of GD&T
Demonstrated mechanical and spatial aptitude
Must be US Citizen
Must be over 18
Must be able to pass a drug test
Cannot have any past felonies
Preferred
High school career machine trades program preferred
