Accounting Administrator
CFS is a long-established privately-held company in Baltimore county seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Administrator to support accounting, office operations, and daily business functions. The role involves managing accounts receivable and payable, processing payroll, and maintaining office supplies and vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
Manage A/R and A/P, invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
Record transactions and maintain the general ledger
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Process payroll
Assist with month‑end/year‑end close and basic financial reporting
Communicate with the external accounting firm
Maintain office supplies, employee records, and vendor relationships
Coordinate facilities, maintenance, and basic IT support
Assist with customer inquiries and order status updates
Maintain insurance policies and renewal schedules
Qualification
Required
Accounting experience and general office management experience
Highly organized and detail‑focused
Enjoys wearing multiple hats in a small, dynamic environment
Strong communicator with a service mindset
Proactive, flexible, and able to prioritize effectively
Preferred
Degree preferred but not required, open to equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
