5+ years expOnTrac is a leading provider of same-day and next-day delivery services in the U.S. They are seeking a Senior Software Developer responsible for the research, design, coding, testing, documentation, and maintenance of internal and external applications, while also mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities
Assist other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications
Works with end users to determine requirements
Plan phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for a variety of projects
Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications
Research and document requirements of software users
Act as a lead on software development projects with other developers
Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts
Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades
Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to project and development specifications
Monitor software performance of new and existing programs for correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas
Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines
Work with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems
Act as a lead and/or provide guidance to junior software developers and research assistants
Perform code reviews and other software QA for other developers
Qualification
Required
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or software engineering, and/or 5+ years equivalent work experience
Working technical knowledge of: Bootstrap, CSS, HTML; Angular 2+; JavaScript; MVC; C#; .net Core; Web API and TSQL
Hands on experience working in integrated development environments, including Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server and data structures
Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
Experience with specific phases of the software development life cycle
Flexible and adaptable in learning and understanding new technologies
Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
Highly logical, technically proficient, highly self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail
Openness to direction and constructive criticism for self-improvement
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Preferred
Knowledge of IdentityServer, Redis, Docker is a plus
