Responsibilities

Preparation of Petitions – drafting supporting letters and identifying needed supporting documents
Research – determining Department of Labor and North American Industry Class System classifications; researching prevailing wage for occupations and researching consulate procedures; monitor sites for any updates or changes to processing procedures
Coordination of PERM Process – managing the recruitment cycle for PERM sponsorships and developing PERM audit files
External contact with clients, government agencies and third parties
Review American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”) InfoNet for updates and changes to processing procedures

Qualification

Immigration law knowledgePetition preparationResearch skillsPERM process coordinationClient communication

Required

Four-year college degree
At least five years of experience supporting the immigration function (either internally for a company or with outside immigration counsel)
