Responsibilities
Evaluate system architecture through comprehensive testing; applying systems engineering fundamentals
Lead integration efforts for computer vision hardware, collaborating with HW, ME, platform, EE, and SW teams
Oversee system design, test, and debug of complex hardware technologies focusing on requirements, interfaces, and performance
Develop system validation strategies for manufacturing, system bring-up, and evaluation
Analyze requirements, break down complex issues, and collaborate across teams to resolve integration challenges promptly
Lead architecture reviews between development teams and suppliers, ensuring proper interface management
Assess supplier capabilities with focus on system integration, provide risk mitigation, and conduct impact assessments
Analyze EV and PV build data from systems perspective, present performance summaries, and adjust specifications based on findings
Lead troubleshooting across software, firmware, and hardware domains, identifying root causes and engaging partners for resolution
Support integration activities at manufacturing facilities and Fulfillment Centers, ensuring successful system deployment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology or equivalent, or 5+ years of manufacturing equipment development experience
Experience developing test strategies and plans for complex hardware/software systems or systems of systems
Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities and experience in managing and troubleshooting network
Experience in supply chain, commodity, and supplier management in a high volume, global sourcing and operations manufacturing environment with a global supply base of contract manufacturers
Experience with computer vision hardware systems and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering
Preferred
Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools
Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume
