Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and optimize on-premises and AWS network components including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
Implement and manage network security protocols, access controls, and VPN solutions
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis for connectivity and latency problems
Maintain AWS networking environment, including: VPC design and management (subnets, route tables, NAT gateways). Security Groups and Network ACLs for secure traffic flow. Load Balancer configuration and tuning. AWS Transit Gateway
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for both on-prem and cloud environments
Maintain accurate documentation: network diagrams, IP schemas, SOPs, and change records
Collaborate with TechOps, DBA Services, Security, and other departments to support business continuity and disaster recovery strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or relevant experience
5+ years of experience as a network administrator or in a similar role managing network infrastructure; 2+ years of AWS administration experience
Proficiency with networking hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies
Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
Ability to work independently
Preferred
AWS Certified Advanced Networking
Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent
