Start in 2026 SummerDime Community Bank is hiring a Human Resources Intern for its 2026 Summer Internship Program. The internship offers a paid, in-office experience where participants will engage in HR data audits, support employee engagement activities, and assist with retirement plan projects.

Responsibilities
Participating in HR data audits, as well as conducting trend analysis based off employee data
Researching and supporting Employee Engagement and Recognition activities
Providing support on Retirement Plan/Benefits projects
Sorting and uploading the company's HRIS system (UKG) with legacy background check information
Qualification
Required
Rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an accredited University/College pursuing a degree in Human Resources
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
Motivated. Curious. Eager to learn. Inquisitive. Proactive contributor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, in Hauppauge, Long Island
