Responsibilities
Perform day to day operations of the Ground Support Technical Operations (GSTO) group supporting the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Artemis program
Support Launch Vehicle Processing, Testing and Validation of flight and ground systems
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical training in the applicable area of expertise
Three years related experience
Must be able to follow work instructions
Interpret engineer drawings
Follow stringent work area rules and safety protocols
Excellent communication skills
Some experience in Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc.)
Must be able to pass a SCAPE Physical and maintain a security clearance
Must be able to support shift work, weekends and reasonable overtime when required
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident/Green Card holder of the United States
Must have ability to work well with office staff and customer representatives
Must be able to travel to support position requirements
Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others
Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relations with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
Must possess and maintain a valid CDL with endorsements Florida driver's license
Must pass a federal background investigation
Must comply with all 'drug free workplace' requirements as mandated by directives issued by the appropriate federal contracting officer and the company
Preferred
Experience with hydraulic systems or direct knowledge of hydraulic equipment functions
Basic electrical systems experience or knowledge is desired
A mechanical and/or electrical background in aviation or aerospace fields
