The Foil Press Operator is responsible for the daily operation of a high-speed Gietz Foil/Embossing press, ensuring accuracy and cleanliness while performing maintenance and assisting with other bindery operations.

Responsibilities
Reads and understands schedules, job tickets, and multi-part specifications
Performs make ready by setting up foil, heat settings, and appropriate product dies
Inspects foiled sheets. Cleans dies. Moves 60-pound boxes to pallets. Adjusts heat and pressure as necessary. Sets register. Runs paper through machine
Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment
Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Inventories foil and supplies. Loads and offload foil press
Operates cutter. Responsible for cutting and boxing all stocks as called for in specifications of each job
Training: May assist in training others
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
