Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys and Data Solution Architect
The DYN Collective is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Solution Architect with expertise in Customer Insights – Journeys and Data. This role involves designing scalable, insight-driven solutions and serving as a strategic advisor on customer engagement and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities
Design end-to-end customer engagement architectures leveraging Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys and Data
Define customer data models, identity resolution strategies, and unified customer profiles
Translate marketing, sales, and service objectives into scalable CI-J and CI-D solutions
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on customer engagement strategy, personalization, and data-driven decision making
Lead implementation of customer data unification across multiple source systems (CRM, ERP, web, marketing platforms, third-party data)
Define and configure data ingestion, mapping, transformation, and enrichment
Design identity matching rules, measures, segments, and calculated insights
Ensure data governance, privacy, consent, and compliance best practices
Architect real-time and outbound customer journeys across email, SMS, push, and event-based triggers
Design personalization strategies using unified customer data and behavioral signals
Define event frameworks and customer triggers for real-time engagement
Support journey performance optimization through insights, experimentation, and analytics
Architect integrations between Customer Insights, Dynamics 365 CE apps (Sales, Customer Service), Power Platform, and Azure services
Collaborate with technical teams on APIs, event streaming, and data pipelines
Ensure solutions align with Microsoft best practices, scalability, and performance standards
Lead discovery workshops, architecture sessions, and solution design reviews
Mentor functional and technical consultants on CI-J and CI-D best practices
Support pre-sales activities including solution design, demos, and estimations (if applicable)
Qualification
Required
5+ years working with Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform
Hands-on experience with Customer Insights – Data (data ingestion, unification, segmentation)
Hands-on experience with Customer Insights – Journeys (real-time journeys, outbound marketing, event-based triggers)
Strong understanding of customer data platforms (CDPs), customer identity resolution, and personalization strategies
Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with external systems and data sources
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Experience with Azure services (Event Hub, Data Lake, Functions, Synapse)
Background in marketing automation, customer experience, or digital transformation initiatives
Experience designing consent management and compliance-focused data architectures
Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Customer Insights
