Simultaneously managing deliverables and actions on multiple programs
Formulating schedules, budgets, and reviews for new awards
Capturing, documenting, and reporting on project status in an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) environment
Defining processes and goals, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress on projects
Communicating progress regularly to customers
Preparing status reports for upper management
Leading and directing the work of others
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a project management role
Proficient in Microsoft tools including MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Microsoft Project Experience is critical
Familiarity with project management practices and procedures
Sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Government contract experience required
Able to thrive in fast paced environment
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
5 years of experience in a project management role
Competency in an EVMS tool such as Deltek Cobra or forProject
PMP certification
Government contracting experience
