The Merchandising Operations Intern will support the readiness and execution of high-value merchandising spaces across BJ’s club locations, focusing on verifying promotional and merchandising plans and building a scalable compliance process.

Responsibilities
Review and analyze compliance for high-value spaces (WOW Wall, center core, Luma carts)
Identify execution gaps using data, images, and exception reports
Help document and improve readiness and escalation processes
Partner with Merch Ops, Clubs, Merchandising, and Planning & Allocation teams
Participate in club visits to observe execution and connect insights to data
Own a defined summer project and present findings at the end of the internship
Qualification
Required
Strong interest in retail operations or merchandising
Analytical mindset; comfortable working in Excel
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Prior retail or store-level experience is a plus
