Viaero Wireless is seeking Fiber Placement Technicians to join their team, with no prior experience required. The role involves installing Fiber Optic cables and new network facilities while traveling within the region and provides on-the-job training in the Fiber Optic trade.

Responsibilities

Install Fiber Optic cables using various techniques
Install new network facilities
Install new network facilities for Carrier network, Fiber to the Cell Tower Businesses, and Residential

Required

You are at least 21 years of age
Have a high school diploma or GED
Have a valid driver's license
Able to travel throughout our region (NE/KS/CO)
Able to perform labor-intensive tasks requiring frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, lifting, digging, pushing, and pulling
Can lift 100 pounds
Can work outside in all elements
Have the ability to pass pre-employment checks, which include a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and substance screening, following federal law
Have an eye for detail and a desire to excel

Preferred

Experience with fiber blowing optic equipment (GMP and CONDUX)
Experience with operation of hydraulic Fiber Optic Pulling Capstans
