Responsibilities

Help to make the daily operations of the production run smoothly
Assist by acting as production assistants during taping of the show
Managing a large audience
Handing out raffle tickets and giveaway prizes
Setting up green rooms
Coordinating paperwork with the celebrity guests
Help producers with research for lifestyle segments
Gathering information for celebrity interviews
Sourcing talk points that make it to air
Support the staff by answering phones
Logging show notes
Running errands
Managing the intern email account
Other production tasks that come up throughout the day
Gain knowledge and experience in audience coordination and television production

Required

Takes initiative and independently drives tasks to completion
High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Pursuing a career in television production or entertainment
Proven skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment
Major or previous coursework in Broadcast Journalism, Communication, Film & Television, Screenwriting, or related major
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
All candidates must be willing to work Monday through Wednesday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM; 24 hours per week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the New York, New York area
Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work in the New York area

Previous experience in entertainment or production
