Responsibilities
Apply Industrial Engineering principles to real world opportunities within a fast paced, vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly Operation
Experience the proper use of Lean/OPEX tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Pull Scheduling (Kanban), Workstation Design, Standardized Work and Kaizen
Participate in Structured Problem-Solving methodologies
Lead small group improvement activities on the production floor
Deliver a project report out to Plant Leadership and your peer group detailing a significant improvement project accomplished during your internship
Qualification
Required
Interest in pursuing a career in Industrial Engineering or Operations
Passion to identify and execute improvement opportunities
Desire to engage with our teammates on the production floor, where the work is performed
A learning mindset and a curiosity about the 'why' behind the 'what'
Preferred
Completed 2+ years of an Industrial Engineering curriculum
Bilingual English/Spanish
