Program Manager, Maryland Office of Overdose Response
Prince George’s County Government provides a dynamic and inclusive workplace dedicated to serving the County's residents. The Program Manager for the Maryland Office of Overdose Response will manage grant-funded public health programs related to behavioral health, form community partnerships, and conduct trainings and strategic planning to inform substance use prevention programs.

Responsibilities
Manages and carries out grant funded public health programs related to behavioral health
Manages federal and state grants, including writing grant reports, collecting data on grant metrics, and tracking grant budgets
Forms community partnerships to support substance use prevention programs
Conducts overdose prevention (Naloxone) trainings throughout the county
Conducts strategic planning to inform substance use prevention programs
Interprets data from the county health department or State of Maryland to inform public health programs
Qualification
Required
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Public Administration, Social Service, Sociology, Psychology, or a closely related field
Three (3) years of responsible professional technical, analytical, and developmental work experience with at least one (1) year in a lead/supervisory role
Must possess and maintain a valid Class C driver's license
Preferred
(5) years of experience working as a project manager for public health programs
(2) years of experience in a supervisory role
(2) years of experience in public health program design and implementation
Fluent in Spanish
