Responsibilities
Install, commission, and service custom machinery at customer sites, both domestic and international
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Train customer staff on proper equipment use, maintenance, and safety procedures
Document service visits, technical issues, and field insights in internal systems
Support in-house operations during non-travel periods (assembly, testing, prep)
Represent the company professionally and communicate effectively during customer interactions
Identify opportunities for service contracts, equipment upgrades, or process improvements
Qualification
Required
3–10+ years of experience in field service, equipment installation, or maintenance in manufacturing or industrial settings
Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems
Ability to interpret schematics and troubleshoot complex machinery independently
Experience with capital equipment or electro-mechanical machinery
Comfortable with up to 70% travel, including international assignments
Self-driven, independent, and able to work effectively on customer sites
Preferred
AAS, BS, or technical certification in mechanical, industrial, or electrical technology
