Designing, integrating, and deploying computer vision–based inspection and automation solutions
Combining mechanical design, electronics, sensors, and embedded systems with vision algorithms to deliver reliable, production-grade systems for industrial environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field
5+ years of experience in industrial automation, machine vision, or intelligent inspection systems
Strong understanding of mechanical design, electronics, sensors, and control systems
Hands-on experience with industrial cameras, optics, lighting, and image acquisition
Working knowledge of computer vision fundamentals (image processing, defect detection, classification)
Mechanical CAD: SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent
Vision & Imaging: OpenCV, Halcon, Cognex, Keyence, or similar platforms
Hardware & Controls: PLCs (Siemens / Allen-Bradley preferred), motion controllers, industrial I/O
Edge & Embedded: Jetson, IPCs, ARM-based systems
Communication Protocols: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, OPC-UA
Preferred
Experience deploying AI/ML-based vision models in production environments
Exposure to robotics integration (ABB, FANUC, UR, etc.)
Knowledge of industrial safety standards and compliance
Experience in high-speed manufacturing or quality inspection systems
