Responsibilities
Building and evolving our mobile and web platforms used by customers, service providers, storage partners, and internal teams
Designing systems that balance operational constraints, real-world logistics complexity, and software scalability
Collaborating closely with product and design to iterate quickly without sacrificing quality
Solving real-world logistics problems: workflows, inventory, geo-location, scheduling, chain-of-custody, and operational visibility
Identifying and addressing performance, reliability, and scalability constraints before they become problems
Product discovery and refinement are ongoing — engineers at MYLO help shape not only what we build, but what we build next
Improving developer experience through better abstractions, tooling, testing, and deployment practices
You’ll ship real features that customers and operators rely on daily
Coordinating physical inventory, crews, and custody changes through software that must reflect what actually happens on-site
Designing shared systems used by customers, service providers, and internal teams with different constraints and incentives
Evolving production systems without breaking active jobs and inventories
Qualification
Required
Experience building production software across frontend and backend systems
Strong fundamentals in computer science (data structures, algorithms, OOP, system design)
Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and asynchronous systems
Comfort working across multiple languages, frameworks, and environments
Experience with testing practices (unit, integration, CI/CD)
Clear communicator who collaborates well and takes ownership
Ability to commit to timelines and deliver reliably
Fluent in English and available during Central Time (GMT-6) business hours
Preferred
Mobile development (iOS / Android)
Geo-location, mapping, or logistics-heavy systems
Real-time or event-driven systems
AI-enabled features (computer vision, object detection, classification, etc.)
Designing or contributing to engineering roadmaps
Experience working with or building design systems
