Responsibilities

Post financial transactions using accounting software
Help manage gift card inventory and distribution
Enter fixed assets into the accounting system
Support data entry and financial records maintenance
Assist with month-end closing processes
Support the Service Authorization Billing Process
Assist the Controller, Accounting Services with ad-hoc requests and projects
Contribute to Avivo’s commitment to undoing racism and reducing disparities, including participating in annual diversity goals and supporting culturally responsive practices

Required

Currently enrolled in an accredited program, pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
Experience working as part of a team
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic knowledge of general accounting practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfort with accounting systems
Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑service mindset
Ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to ethical, respectful, and mission‑aligned work
