Responsibilities
Develop and lead strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce material costs, shorten lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure maximum value. Draft, review, and manage purchasing contracts and agreements
Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers of industrial and commercial refrigeration components, equipment, and services. Build and maintain strong, long-term vendor relationships
Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to forecast material requirements, manage inventory levels, and minimize stockouts. Oversee inventory management processes and systems
Conduct market research and cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and process improvements. Track, analyze, and report key procurement metrics
Oversee purchase order execution, monitor supplier performance, ensure on-time delivery, and resolve discrepancies or issues
Partner with suppliers to ensure materials meet quality standards and specifications. Lead resolution of quality-related issues as needed
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable industry regulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic procurement or purchasing, preferably within the industrial, HVAC, or refrigeration industry
Proven success in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost-reduction initiatives
Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory control, and demand planning
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and procurement/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to operate independently while collaborating across departments in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Knowledge of industrial and commercial refrigeration systems and components is a strong plus
