Responsibilities
Provide vision, direction, and oversight for leadership degree and certificate programs
Lead program development, review, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure alignment of leadership programs with institutional mission, biblical values, and strategic goals
Advise and mentor students enrolled in the leadership programs academically, professionally, and spiritually
Oversee curriculum design, course scheduling, and faculty assignments in collaboration with academic leadership
Participate in the recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluation of program instructors
Fulfill the teaching load assigned by the Dean that includes undergraduate courses in Christian leadership, cross-cultural missions, ethics, organizational leadership, or related fields
Integrate Christian worldview and faith-based perspectives into teaching, scholarship, and mentoring
Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across academic departments within MCUTS and the University
Manage program budgets, resources, and operational needs
Support student recruitment, retention, and success initiatives
Engage in grant research and writing appropriate to the program
Coordinate with the Dean for the College to engage fund-raising specific to the program
Serve on various College and University committees
Foster partnerships with churches, nonprofits, and community organizations to enhance relevant and experiential learning for students
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited college or university with master's degree in a related field and teaching experience is required
Ability to work as a part of a team and develop cooperative working relationships
Ability to maintain confidentiality of student records
Preferred
Preference will be given to candidates with an earned doctoral or terminal degree and work experience in the field of the program
