Responsibilities
Demonstrate strong troubleshooting capabilities with process and packing equipment
Responsible for the improvement of waste and performance metrics for assigned production lines
Increase stability of the production line to support our vision from traditional line teams to a semi-autonomous team
Prioritize projects through data stratification of factory downtime and waste data
Identify growth and savings opportunities within the factory and develop business cases around them
Manage small projects from ideation through implementation
Work closely with operators and maintenance team during continuous improvement activities and act as the technical trainer when needed
Provide coaching in phenomena identification, root cause analysis, and the establishment of countermeasures
Any other responsibilities as needed
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on engineering experience within a CPG/FMCG production facility
BS in an engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial)
Experience executing projects using Continuous Improvement methodology (TPM / WCM /Kaizen / Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt)
Highly skilled in Excel, with demonstrated expertise in data analysis, visualization, and reporting
Preferred
Six Sigma Certification (nice to have)
Basic knowledge of electrical circuits (nice to have)
Familiar with controls and automation with Rockwell PLCs (nice to have)
Union factory experience (nice to have)
